Lucia and Ian: a wonderful wedding for a wonderful couple!
She was born in Livorno, Italy, and met her American prince charming while working in Shanghai at the reception.
Ian’s mother said it was love at first sight! The couple is now living in Los Angeles, and chose to celebrate their wedding in Tuscany along with their American friends & relatives and their Italian ones.

Their wedding could not possibly be better: every small detail were planned by Distinctive Italy Weddings and to the best vendors.

The wedding weekend started on Friday, with a pool party and an Italian-style bbq dinner that took place in the awesome gardens of the Borgo, set up in a suitable country-chic style.
The wedding occurred the next day in the small chapel of the Borgo.
The couple and their guests came there in the morning to enjoy a picnic lunch, and then got ready in their rooms.

Borgo di Castelvecchio is an unforgettable location for a wedding: the Borgo, actually, is an ancient village dating back to the Middle Ages, built around a Manor house; the villa in which groom and bride lodged.

Lucia and Ian got ready separately in two different areas of the Borgo.
They both had nine witnesses: nine beautiful bridesmaids in pink dresses and nine handsome bestmen!

The catholic ceremony took place in the beautiful and peculiar chapel of the Borgo, which was fully decorated with white flowers and ivy.
After the ceremony, the couple and the guests enjoyed a small aperitif in the pool area.

We had a small couple shooting, then the dinner begun under a white tensile structure.
By the end of the delicious dinner, it was up time for the speeches and for the making of and cutting of the cake.
The party, in which the guests, the couple and the photographers had a great fun!

What else can we say? A perfect wedding!
