Greek Orthodox Wedding in Venice | Petra & Adam
I have always been fascinated by the various traditions and customs of other countries regarding the union of a couple on the wedding day.
Adam is a Greek boy who lives and works in London and together with his greek wedding planner he managed to organize a perfect Greek Orthodox Wedding despite the bad weather.
The church of San Giorgio dei Greci is a religious building in the city of Venice, located in the Castello district, near the church of San Zaccaria.
The church is used as a cathedral by the Orthodox Archdiocese of Italy and Malta but belongs to the Hellenic Institute, adjacent to it and, therefore, to the Greek State.
It depends on the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.
Adam and Petra celebrated their wedding there in a very special and romantic atmosphere.
After the wedding, we had the chance to be able to make some magnificent photos at Palazzo Ducale, thus managing to shelter from the incessant rain of that day in Venice.
They had their reception and party in the splendid Hotel Bauer, a perfect setting and a perfect dinner for their Greek Orthodox Wedding in Venice.
