Wedding Photographer in Florence | Bex & Ben
Today I am here to tell you about a beautiful wedding in Tuscany, precisely at Castello Ristonchi in Florence.
Bex and Ben are a couple who live in New Zealand and have chosen me as a Wedding Photographer in Florence.
Before them two other couples of their friends had chosen me to tell about their marriage, in Venice and Miami respectively.
To the left of the Vicano stream, on a hill overlooking the Arno valley and upstream of the Vallombrosa woods, stands the nucleus of Ristonchi.
The village, formed by the mighty tower, the church of Sant’Egidio with its rectory and other rural buildings, stands on the site of an ancient castle documented since 1100.
Arrived in the morning after a journey of 300 km riding my bike, I found the bride and groom and all their friends engaged in a barbecue just below the castle walls.
Bex and Ben along with their family and friends spent a wonderful week in this village tasting the most classic Tuscan wines and enjoying the best local dishes.
For them it was a fantastic and unique experience.
Bex prepared himself with his bridesmaids in an apartment inside the castle, just like Ben with his friends between drinks and laughter to the rhythm of haka, the famous Maori dance of the All Blacks.
The ceremony took place at sunset in an adjacent meadow, immersed in the marvelous Tuscan countryside.
At the end of the ceremony, after a brief refreshment, they enjoyed a fantastic dinner of local products under a wonderful sky full of stars.
The evening ended with drinks and dancing until the morning in the castle tavern with family and friends.
It was truly a wonderful experience to have been their Wedding Photographer in Florence.
