Kate and Jason are a lovely young couple from England who chose Venice as a location for their marriage.
Kate is English, while Jason’s origins are Italian. They lodged at the beautiful five-star Luxury Luna Hotel Baglioni, a few steps far from San Marco.
The love they shared was touchable – so young and so in love! Kate looked amazing in her white gown, and Jason’s emotion at seeing her was visible. They separately got ready, and reached with water taxi the Palladio Church in Redentore.
The Redetore, located in the Dorsoduro sestiere, was designed and built by the famous XVI-Century architect Andrea Palladio as a votive church to thank God for the deliverance of the city from a major outbreak of the plague. Jason was impatiently waiting to see Kate walking the nave and his emotion was visible!
Kate entered the beautiful church with her father.
The young priest celebrated a real touchy celebration, and Jason and Kate shared their vows and rings among the general emotion. After the ceremony, and after the throwning of the petals, the shooting begun in the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore, facing San Marco.
Then the newlyweds reached the city, had the typical Spritz (the most famous aperitif drink in northern Italy) and continued the shooting through the streets of Venice, in the Bridge of Rialto and in San Marco Square. After the shooting, Jason and Kate took a water taxi that brought them back to the hotel.
The reception took place in the restaurant of the Luna Hotel Baglioni, in which the new husband and wife had a great time with all the guests who came to Venice for their wonderful, sweet marriage.
