Wedding Photographer Val Gardena
The beautiful Ortisei town, also known as St. Ulrich. Is located in South Tyrol and was chosen as the perfect location for Valentina and Corrado’s wedding celebration.
No one of them was actually a native of that area: Valentina cames from Milan and Corrado was born in Ferrara, but the couple now lives in London.
Corrado stayed at Casa Valverda with his family and friends. There, He wore the wedding suit in a super-fun mood!
Valentina got ready with her best friends, her sister and her mother at the Hotel Adler Balance. She looked amazing in her wedding dress, and the room where she was staying in, had probably one of the most beautiful views of the Val Gardena!
Corrado waited for his bride inside the church of St. Ulrich, in the centre of Ortisei.
Valentina got there by feet with her father, and entered the asile.
The amazing choir of Ortisei cheered the ceremony with a peculiar musical choice: the most classical Mass music by Leonard Cohen’s – Hallelujah.
After the ceremony, we had a small aperitif at the Cafè Corso in Ortisei.
While we had the wedding couple shooting in the mountains around Ortisei, the wedding party moved by bus to the Castle of Prösels.
This castle, about 30 minutes far from Ortisei, is a wonderful gothic fortess built in 1517, now available for wedding receptions.
At the castle we had another aperitif over the amazing main tower – the view from such a position was just unforgettable!
After the aperitif, we moved to the inner halls for dinner, where Valentina and Corrado’s parents and best friends had their speeches to the bride and the groom.
Instead of the traditional cutting of the cake, we had a South-Tyrol-style cutting of the strudel!
The night ended with a great party, but soon before Valentina and Corrado had their first dance: a sensual tango!
Congratulations to this lovely couple!
