Annette and Lee came to Verona with their families to celebrate their wedding.
They decided to do it in a very peculiar location Juliet’s Tomb and museum!
Juliet’s tomb is located in the vaults of the Abbey of San Francesco, a few steps away from the city center of Verona.

It’s a suggestive place, historical and the rooms showcased frescoes from the 16th-18th centuries.
During that time Verona was the birthplace of so many frescoes that it became known as “Urbs Picta, or “Painted City” in Latin.
It’s a place that you have to visit for sure!

According to William Shakespeare’s play, Romeo and Juliet were buried here; soon after this play was published, a real sarcophagus for the lovers was placed in the courtyard of the monastery. Nowadays, many couples from all over the world come to this Monastery to get married in such a particular location.
The couple rent a wonderful flat near Piazza delle Erbe, one of the most central squares of the city.
There they got ready, and met at the Tomb.

The location was absolutely stunning and particular, especially for an English couple who obviously knew the most renown Shakespearean novel so well!
Another reference to Shakespeare was the name of the Wedding Planning team :
Romeo & Juliet Weddings, very well-fitting for such a wedding!
After the Civil Ceremony we had a small photo session around the most charachteristic areas of Verona.
One of them is Juliet’s house, where a statue of her is located
The tradition says that touching her breast brings good luck!
After the shooting, Annette and Lee got back to their rent apartment, with its awesome circular stairs
So great for the photos!

Congratulations and thanks to chose me as your Wedding Photographer Verona!
and thanks also to Romeo & Juliet Weddings, nothing it would have been possible without them!
